The Roddenberry Fellowship

In 1966, at a time of civil unrest and social change, Gene Roddenberry offered a vision for a future where diversity and tolerance were valued and in which inclusivity and equality were the norm. Today, 50 years later, that vision is under threat. A rhetoric of hate and fear dominates our national discourse as institutions and systems designed to protect us and the planet are being weakened. The strides we’ve made towards a more equitable nation, towards a future like the one envisioned by Gene Roddenberry, are increasingly in jeopardy. In light of the current social and political climate, The Roddenberry Foundation is launching the Roddenberry Fellowship, a $1 million investment in the activists, community leaders, advocates, and changemakers whose work has the greatest potential to protect the most vulnerable, level the playing field, and give voice to the voiceless.

We will be launching the Roddenberry Fellowship in the summer of 2017! Sign up for updates below.
