Youth Rise Texas

Youth Rise Texas is excited to be a funded partner of the Roddenberry Foundation. With Roddenberry Foundation support, the team at Youth Rise Texas will be able to:

• Scale our Youth Organizing Institute to grow our base from 150 high school youth trained in healing justice, relational organizing, and advocacy to 350 high school youth trained
• Register 3,000 young people of color, primarily high school youth, to vote by November of 2020
• Develop a Youth Justice Agenda with our youth leadership in preparation for the 2021 Texas Legislative session; implement a training and education plan to engage and mobilize our youth based on the Youth Justice Agenda; build a base of allied organizations who will support the Youth Justice Agenda
