GALEO Latino Community Development Fund, Inc.

The GALEO Latino Community Development Fund is working hard to promote civic engagement and leadership development in Georgia. Through our work, we develop Latinx leaders in the state to enhance their skills, engage community members with voter registration education, and we promote participation in the 2020 election cycle. With the ongoing pandemic, we have greatly expanded our social media and online activities. We have increased our focus on digital technologies and approaches that appeal to young adult Latinx audiences, including TikTok, videos, Instagram, Zoom Live Events, and town halls online. This enables us to reach Latinx community members in the Metro Atlanta area but also in rural parts of Georgia. Since March 23rd, our digital communications alone have been viewed over 400,000 times and growing.
