Student PIRGs

Students have the power to shape the future we will inherit. That’s why for over 40 years, the Student PIRGs have been teaming young people up with professional staff so they have the skills, training, and opportunities to make a real impact. We believe that the full participation of young people in the political process is essential to a truly representative, vibrant democracy. Together young people have the power to elect the next generation of leaders who will fight for our shared vision of the future, but only if they vote. We’re working with over 50 community colleges across the country to run virtual civic engagement programs to help register and turn out young people to vote so they get their voices heard.
