Emerging Leaders Foundation (ELF)

In collaboration with UNDP, Emerging Leaders Foundation launched the My Sisters’ Keeper project to train and equip young female health workers in Nairobi County (pilot) to; address emerging health issues affecting women and children, raise the leadership profiles of young female health professionals, and promote transparent and accountable leadership in the health sector, hence improve service delivery. This project has been successful and will be scaled up to 24 other counties in Kenya. 100 young female health workers were identified and are undergoing training and mentorship.

Additionally, ELF started an online campaign aimed at raising awareness among young people on Covid-19 and share information on how to protect themselves and their loved ones, and how to keep hope alive. At the end of the campaign, we managed to reach 926,256 people.
