The Fellowship Experience
The Roddenberry Fellowship provides funding, coaching, and professional support. But the ultimate goal of the program is cultivating a cross-sector network of activists, community leaders, advocates, and changemakers.
To this, the Fellowship experience is centered on building deep and lasting relationships among the current cohort and alumni.
For the safety of our Fellows and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve made adjustments to the Fellowship program, as recommended by public health experts. We look forward to returning to in-person convenings when it is safe to do so.
LA Retreat February
This begins in February at the retreat in Los Angeles, where Fellows begin to get to know each other through sharing personal stories, identifying potential collaborations, and enjoying the weather and culture of LA.
During the Year February – October
Throughout the year, Fellows continue to connect with each other virtually and through local, in-person meet-ups. The fall retreat is where Fellows and alumni connect, and identify potential alignment and opportunities, leveraging time at the retreat and grants specifically allocated for collaboration.
Alumni Program December – Ongoing
As the official year of the Fellowship draws to a close, Fellows are welcomed into the alumni network, and through ongoing engagement, have access to a host of benefits ranging from grants to conference panels to pro bono opportunities.
