Food for Education is a Kenya non-profit organization that uses technology, smart operations, and logistics to deliver low cost, nutritious, meals to public primary school children in Kenya. To date, we have provided over 5,000,000 meals. Our innovative tech #Tap2Eat uses cutting-edge Fintech that enables public primary school children to access nutritious lunch meals. Parents pay USD $0.15 for subsidized lunches using mobile money. The amount is credited to a virtual wallet linked to an NFC smart wrist band which students use to then Tap2Eat in under 5 seconds and which students use to then Tap2Eat in under 5 seconds.
