Our team has successfully provided basic learning services and connectivity to an initial 600 primary school students, with a set expansion plan to far-flung communities located in the mountainsides and islands surrounding our pilot site. The expansion, with the support of our partners and the grant from the Roddenberry Foundation, will allow us to raise our beneficiaries to over 3,000 learners in the next 3 months, and perhaps even more given the level of support, we are receiving from the local government after they witnessed firsthand the importance of our facilities. Furthermore, each hub will create an additional 25 job opportunities primarily targeted at newly licensed teachers who are unable to apply for teaching positions when the pandemic hits.
